I was delighted to be given several boxes of Asian toys and miscellany earlier this year from the wonderful
Sam Carter, explorer and curator extraordinaire. This afternoon, I had fun going through some of the items trying to see what I could fit into my Children at Play box. I have other items that I had previously put on the list plus a DVD, CD and two books. I’m going to need a bigger box!
Here’s some pics of Audrey exploring the box. At the end, she got a little mischievous.

Playing with a spinning top

Blowing up kamifusen, Japanese paper balloons

Eating fake fruit made from rice dough

And then the snake ate the dolls
